Starting point :

Application For Vendor

Perfect Couple hunt will be run from May 1st to May 31st 2011. Like the name of the hunt the theme of the hunt is for couple. As we know this hunt will be the first hunt in SL that for couple. We noticed that lots of hunters do hunts with their couple (male –female). They love to do it with their bf/gf, wife/husband or just good friends.

The gifts required are for a couple (male-female). For example, a matching outfit for male-female, a couple pose, a gift card to have free couple pics, etc. You don’t have to be the business owner that sells the products for both genders- as long as you can provide the gift for a couple, you are very welcome to apply. We are seeking vendors who are willing to contribute quality builds that will be on-theme. We consider this hunt’s theme “mature” and hence, we will not accept application from any children’s stores.

Original content creators only please. Resellers and “business in a box” vendors will not be accepted. The gift should be an original gift item that has never been submitted as a prior group gift or as a gift in a previous hunt.

We will continue to accept vendor applications up until April 15tth 2011 at 10pm SL time. Note, however, our intention at this time is to limit the hunt to 100 stores. Submit your applications directly to Yayank Haystack.

If/when you are accepted into the hunt, you’ll receive a group invitation, a hunt sign and a landmark to the next store. Please accept the group invitation and place the hunt sign at your store.

We will do a contest during the hunt. The best couple in the hunt (more info exists in the hunter notecard). We are expecting the vendors to contribute towards the contest prizes.

April 15th : Last day to apply as a hunt vendor.
April 17th : First walkthrough to check existence of hunt sign.
April 20th : Official hunt object sent out to all vendors.
April 25th : Second walkthrough, please place your hunt item next to the sign. We will validate the landmark. Last day to send your hints and the exact location where you plan to hide your gift (NOTE: the exact place info is for the hunt organizer’s eye’s only for verification purposes during the final walkthrough.)
April 29th : Please hide your gift.
April 30th : Final walkthrough. We will check that gift placement is correct based on the submitted hint.
May 1st : First day of Hunt
May 31st : Last day of Hunt
June 1st : Announcement of contest winners

Hunt Tips

Here are some tips to keep in mind, in order to make hunting fun for everyone:

1. Do not shout the location of the hunt prize in open chat. If you are hunting with a friend, reveal the prize's location in IM.

2. Be courteous to the designers, models and store staff members. After all they are giving you a free product.

3. If you do not like the prize, just delete it from your inventory!

4. When you TP to a new location, step out of the way to let things rez. If everyone just stands there, avis will start piling up on top of each other and nobody will be able to move.

5. Before you go hunting, bring down your ARC (Avatar Rendering Cost). When you are wearing lots of prims, you cause lag. Here is how to check your ARC: Advanced Menu > Rendering > Info Displays > Avatar Rendering Cost. A little number above your head is your ARC. If your number is in red, try wearing less prims.
